Repository Integrity Rules

Repository integrity is the minimum condition for trustworthy navigation of the research record.

Structural integrity includes:

• unique OIDs;
• valid object types;
• resolvable relationships;
• required metadata;
• valid lifecycle values;
• consistent timestamps;
• schema-conformant objects;
• no competing canonical copies;
• documentation navigation that resolves.

These rules do not prove that an understanding is true. They ensure that the repository can reliably represent what it claims to contain.
